Chris Devonshire-Ellis
Chris Devonshire-Ellis is the founder and Senior Partner of Dezan Shira & Associates, Asia’s largest independent business advisors and tax consultants, advising multinational businesses on matters of foreign direct investment into China and India. Established in 1992, the practice has eight China office a further three in India, and services over 1,600 clients from 80 countries in China.
He is also the founder and publisher of the China Briefing publishing house with its well received magazines and books concerning matters of China business law and tax, and is a regular contributor to China Briefing News. Chris has written and co-written several best selling books about business in China, including regional guides to Beijing and Shanghai, in addition to various technical guides concerning corporate establishment and tax in China.
He also founded the India Briefing brand, which now publishes a monthly business magazine concerning Indian law and tax matters.
