Macao has recently issued new legislation concerning its offshore company industry which heavily focuses on permitted activities into certain key development areas.
The tax regulations that apply to the Macao SAR's offshore service business are very competitive and comply with international standards. For profits that are derived from offshore activities, an institution can enjoy full exemption from all forms of taxes, such as income tax, business registration tax, and stamp duties.
