Pudong's new five year economic development plan

Since 1953, the Chinese Government has announced a new national economic plan every five years. Currently the 10th "five year plan" is effective from 1 January 2001 to 31 December 2005. Based on these general policies from central government, individual cities and district government authorities design new benefit schemes for business organisations to encourage business activities in their region.
