CHINA HOLDING COMPANIES REGULATIONS UPDATED

A Supplementary Regulation for the Administration of Foreign Invested China Holding Companies ("CHCs") has recently been issued by the Ministry of Commerce. Various operational restrictions have been relaxed. The Supplementary Regulation will be effective 1 July 2006, we reproduce the major points of the regulation in this article.
