Developments for Foreign Invested Service Companies in the Pearl River Delta

MOFCOM has entrusted the Guangzhou Development District and the Nansha Economy and Technology Development District to approve the establishment of foreign invested service companies. The main industrial sectors involved include non-vessel carriers, construction, printing, construction project design, road transportation, commercial and international goods transportation forwarders.
This will simplify the registration of FICEs (Foreign Invested Commercial Enterprises) applying in these two areas and save time by avoiding the provincial level approval. While, it must be said that other southern cities, like Shenzhen, are also witnessing a noticeable acceleration on the licensing and registering procedures of FICEs, simplification remains a key factor, and can be reached by avoiding sub level approval or delegating local authorities to deal with some authorization.
