Thats a good call, and I can see that happening. Bo Xi Lai would be very good news for Chongqing.

That looks feasible and I notice Chris has been right before when second guessing political matters. Bo Xi Lai though will have to demonstrate a great deal of political savvy if he wants the top role and I think this remains unproven. But if China falls into a disaster such as a bad Olympics or into some other major international diplomatic incident, the Politburu may well turn to him. If not, being groomed in Chongqing will certainly not do his chances any harm either. This is an interesting observation. I'll have to get along to the Capital Club more often!
