		<description>i have been working in China,i have a resident permit which expired this june 19th,2008.My agent was working on an extention for me,unfortunately he even did so and he tried to run away with my passport but i managed to get him on a break.
I have overstayed for 2month now,i am ready to go home.i wanted to know how to go home,where to go at the PSB and what to expect.</description>

RMB5,000 is a lot of money for an on the spot offence (@USD720) that should have been preventable and better administered by the Chinese themselves.</description>

So yes, these are the rules. The only difference is that the probability to have more controls and police visits is higher.
If you respect the rules from the beginning, nothing changed for you.</description>
