Jul. 29 –Qingdao’s local taxation bureau recently issued a supplementary notice regarding several updates on the subject of invoice issuance and management.

Qingdishuihan [2010] No. 82, issued on July 19, introduces two new types of invoices while, at the same time, abolishing several kinds of invoices including the “International Cargo Transport Agent Invoices,” “International Shipping Agency Invoices,” ” International Air Passenger Transportation Invoices,” and “Insurance Invoices.”

The tax bureau’s notice also stipulates that the canceled invoices can still be used through December 31, 2010.

Starting from January 1, 2011, all abolished invoice types will be canceled. The old invoices reserved by the taxpayer should be handed in for cancellation before January 31, 2010.
