Andy Scott is the managing editor for Asia Briefing. He oversees the publication of China Briefing, India Briefing and Vietnam Briefing as well as the emerging Asia blog, 2point6billion.com. Andy graduated from Juniata College in Western Pennsylvania and studied Mandarin at The Chinese Language School at Middlebury College in Vermont. He has lived and worked in Asia since 2002. Before coming to China, Andy helped to produce the morning television show “Washington Journal” for C-SPAN in Washington, DC. Now based in Shanghai, he has traveled throughout much of Asia and has worked in Laos and Cambodia as well as Hunan Province in Central China.
