Dec. 14 – Asia Briefing, the parent brand of China Briefing, is poised to undergo some significant developments in early 2013 that will impact upon our readers. We highlight these changes as follows:

Our main website is currently being massively upgraded and will have a far more streamlined look, accompanied by an improved bookstore. In addition, the site will become the main portal for business and regulatory news across Asia, including China, India, ASEAN and other Asian economies. This will be supported from January by a bi-monthly, full-color magazine that will deal with pan-Asian comparisons in legal, tax and operational compliance issues. The first issue, released on January 7, will feature compliance and audit requirements and comparisons between different Asian countries, including China, India, and other ASEAN nations. It will be available free online and will also be given a print run of some 25,000 copies across China. To ensure you receive your issue of the new Asia Briefing magazine and future publications, please click here.

The China Briefing website and magazine will remain as they are. The new January issue of China Briefing will focus extensively on China audit requirements and annual licensing procedures. To make sure you receive your copy, please subscribe here. Additionally, the China Briefing web site will be featuring a series of specially-commissioned articles from some of China’s top business writers starting from Monday, December 24th.

We will also be launching our new ASEAN Briefing website early in February 2013. This site will feature business news, regulatory updates and extensive data on ASEAN free trade, double tax agreements and foreign direct investment laws. Covering all ASEAN members (Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam), ASEAN Briefing aims to be the premier online source to go to for technical and business information concerning investment and trade with ASEAN countries. You can stay up-to-date with the development of ASEAN Briefing by subscribing to the Asia Advantage weekly newsletter.

India Briefing is one of our fastest growing titles. In addition to covering business news and regulatory updates online through the India Briefing website, the India Briefing magazine will be upgraded to a quarterly publication featuring legal, tax, regulatory and compliance issues for the foreign investor. Vietnam Briefing magazine will also be upgraded to quarterly issues, while the online content will focus on foreign investment legal, tax and regulatory issues. To ensure you receive copies of Vietnam Briefing as they are published, please click here.

“These new and exciting publications will help us better serve our existing subscriber base of business executives while also helping us reach out to astute investors and management professionals interested in conducting business across Asia,” comments James Du, Marketing Manager for Asia Briefing, a subsidiary of Dezan Shira & Associates. “The increase in focus and delivery frequency of our content and concentration on the legal, tax and regulatory aspects across China, India, Vietnam, Singapore and the rest of emerging Asia reflect the growth of Dezan Shira & Associates across the region and will provide a solid and reliable platform for business executives to use when considering or managing investments into Asia.”
