Dezan Shira Awarded Most Active Firm at Milan’s China Awards

Dec. 1 – Dezan Shira & Associates was awarded the Lombard Elite prize for most active professional firm on the Chinese market at the fourth annual China Awards in Milan on November 25.

The awards, organized by Fondazione Italia Cina and Milano Finanza and supported by the Italian Ministry for the Economic Development and the Ministry for Foreign Affairs in partnership with the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce and with the contribution of Intesa Sanpaolo bank, aim to highlight the most successful Italian-invested companies in China and vice versa.

Alberto Vettoretti, the managing partner for Dezan Shira & Associates, was on hand to collect the award on behalf of the company.

AwardThe awards jury included Cesare Romiti (president, Fondazione Italia Cina, former chairman and CEO of FIAT Group), Paolo Panerai (CEO, Class Editori), Sun Yuxi (Chinese ambassador to Italy), Sergio Balbinot (CEO, Assicurazioni Generali), Diana Bracco (chairman, Bracco), Gabriele Capolino (Milano Finanza), Davide Cucino (chairman, China-Italy Chamber of Commerce), Osvaldo De Paolini (Milano Finanza), Massimiliano Guzzini, (CEO, iGuzzini China), Alcide Luini (Fondazione Italia Cina), Pierluigi Magnaschi (Class Editori), Riccardo Sessa (Italian ambassador to China), Mario Zanone Poma (chairman, Italy-China Chamber of Commerce in Milan).

A charity dinner held in conjunction with the event raised money for the LifeLine Express Project, which aims to assist people affected by cataracts in China.
