I find these sites to be a good mix of news and commentary. The blogs have gotten too insular, and are mostly just someone spouting off all the time, I find Dezan's sites comment when its necessary, or to explain. The news they carry can be found elsewhere but is usually interesting - like the London cabs - no-one else picked up on that. I find it a good balance but everyone has preferences. There's way too many China blogs and this one keeps away from that blogging style. I think thats a good thing. Blogs attracting lots of comments on tend to focus on deliberate controversy and CB has done well to steer away from that. I think its more quality driven than deliberately seeking comment to raise profile, and the India/Vietnam mix gives a bigger picture viewpoint. I'm good with it. Keep up the great work!

Thats a bit of a strange comment Wil. Our subscrib er readership to India Briefing & Vietnam Briefing are growing at about 1,000 a month. They are very popular, although targetted at those investment markets and not at China. And yes, we do have people there - Dezan Shira & Associates has five India offices, with the head of the India practice being Nazia Vasi in Mumbai, and Vietnam two offices, with our country manager Hoang Thu Huyen, based in Hanoi. Our practices in India and Vietnam are developing and we are hiring now in fact. Business Guides to India and Vietnam will appear later in the year, and we already publish magazines in these countries. As always, we will continue to produce material from the source, on the ground legal, tax and business updates from each of these markets.

I've been a long time fan, but I think you are spreading yourself way too thin these days. You have gone from mostly analysis to mostly just regurgitating the news. You are doing this on all your sites, some a lot more than others. If I might be so bold (and please understand I intend this as constructive criticism) you should shut down all of your sites except for this one and 2point6billion.com. You don't have anyone on the ground in those other countries anyway, do you?
