China-India investment seminar at Royal Overseas League

Apr. 8 – Chris Devonshire-Ellis, the founding partner of Dezan Shira & Associates, will be hosting a China-India investment seminar at the Royal Overseas League, St. James, London.

Scheduled from 12 noon to 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 14, and including a buffet lunch, Chris will address the following topics:

China-India market demographics
Investment environments and infrastructure
Operational and logistics
Comparisons of legal establishment structures
Tax regimes and investment incentives

Chris established Dezan Shira & Associates in China in 1992 and set up the firm in India in 2006. Dezan Shira & Associates provides due diligence, legal establishment, tax, accounting and business advisory services to foreign investors in these markets, and now has ten China offices and five in India. He is a regular speaker at China and India investment seminars, and has recently published two books on the subject, China Briefing’s Business Guide to China and India Briefing’s Business Guide to India. He has also collaborated with the Indian government on their forthcoming China Investment Guide and is a regular contributor to many international newspapers and magazines on matters of foreign investment into these markets. He is also Vice-Chairman of the UNDP business advisory council for the region.
