Nov. 3 – On October 12, Alberto Vettoretti, Managing Partner of Dezan Shira & Associates and Vice Chairman of the European Union Chamber of Commerce (Pearl River Delta Chapter) has been nominated as International Advisor to the Guangzhou Government in a ceremony held in Nansha District, Guangzhou.

At the closed-door meeting, chaired by leaders from the Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Bureau and also attended by Guangzhou Vice Mayor Chen Mingde, the panel of international advisors put forward constructive ideas and suggestions on how to improve the foreign direct investment environment in the region and further contribute to the “Happy Guangdong” development plan.

Since 2005, the Guangzhou Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Bureau has appointed a total of 58 distinguished international entrepreneurs, heads of multinational corporations, and foreign organizations as Investment Advisors to the Guangzhou Municipality.
