Theres a lot of us who are getting to the stage we really want the elections to be over so our government can start to deal with the real issues. We can't find a common way forward at the moment and its due to the fact we have an outgoing administration. Theres no doubt its made the financial situation worse and the stock markets behave in an ever-decreasing spiral. Fingers crossed when the politicians can finally get to work we can rapidly find a way out of this mess. It'll be interesting to see what the Europeans do at the AMES meetings though. I would expect an early December rebound, but we'll see.

Sage advice. Maybe we're getting a bit carried away. Thats a good point about the ASEM, unaffected by the current US issues. Nice to see some stable commentary for a change amidst the hype.
